Picture-Book Theater

Picture-Book Theater

Acting is one of many of expressive language experiences that support reading and literacy. In Picture-book Theater, participants work together to put a popular children’s story on its feet. Participants will learn about pantomime, emotional expression and develop vocal and physical awareness using a popular children’s book as a source of inspiration. Each child will have a role in creating and performing in our unique story-book adaptation. Participants will receive a copy of the book which is included in the registration fee and family and friends are welcome to attend the final showcase.

    Will this be offered again?

      Hi Stacey,

At this time, this is the only session of Picture-Book Theater that is on the schedule. I am in the process of booking summer programs, though, and any new class information will be publicized here or on the Experiments in Theater Facebook page as soon as it becomes definite.

      Thanks for your interest.
